What is the Ellen Mote Patron Program?
The Patron Program is a six-month collecting experience designed to make owning original art more accessible — and more personal.
Instead of purchasing a piece all at once, patrons invest through monthly installments and follow along as new work is created in the studio. At the end of the program, each patron selects an original artwork to bring home.
This program is about more than buying a painting — it’s about becoming part of the process and directly supporting my practice as an artist.
A new approach to collecting art:
By making installments over a few months, it lowers the barrier to entry for new collectors so they can finally start living with art, and others to feel a connection to the artist (me!) and support my practice.
How does it work?
Patrons opt in at one of three tiers, each tier corresponding to a different size work.
Patrons will make a monthly payment towards a piece of work.
At the end of the program patrons will get to select their piece in the order of sign up. First to sign up gets first selection!
I’ll send monthly updates just to the patrons with updates on how the work is developing, as well as few little surprises along the way.

Enrollment will open on February 3rd at 11:00am CST on this page, and close on February 6th at midnight.

All of the artwork will be created during the 6-month program. Patrons receive monthly updates and behind-the-scenes looks as pieces develop.

This is not a commission program, however, I do send out a survey at the start of the program to see what colors you like, don’t like etc. Part of the experience is seeing the work unfold and choosing the piece that speaks to you most.

Yes, all tiers come with a maple floater frame.

Shipping is not included, and will be invoiced separately.
Patrons are invited to come pick up their work in person at my studio in Texas!
